Getting started
Do I need an account to start?
No. FastIdea opens and works straight away, without signing up: ideas stay on your device. If you create an account later, the app asks which existing ideas you want to bring to the cloud — it never uploads them without your choice.
What happens if I write offline?
You can keep working as usual. Every change is saved immediately in the local database. When you’re back online, syncing starts automatically in the background.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. There are no limits on the number of ideas, tasks or workspaces.

Is my data protected?
The database on your device is encrypted, with its key in the system keychain. Attachments are stored privately and accessed through expiring signed URLs. Permissions are enforced by the database itself, not just the app.
Can I take my ideas out of FastIdea?
Yes. Export each idea as Markdown with its metadata, ready to paste into an AI chat. You can also export a whole workspace as a document.
Is it available for Android?
Not yet. The app is built for both platforms, but distribution starts on iOS. Android will follow the first real testing period.
